Salary and Benefit information for all pilots with permanent Madrid contracts
Salary
Basic Salary

Please note that all pilots receive 90% of their basic salary during the first 6 months of employment.
Additionally, all internal promotions to the left hand seat will also receive 90% of Captain’s basic salary from the date of successful Final Line Check as a Captain, for a period of 6 months based on the date of commencement of Command Conversion, irrespective of the date on which Command is taken up.
Training Captains' Pay
The following allowances are paid to Training Captains

If you have a split day between domestic and international flights the payment will be on the basis of the majority of your duty time.
Payment for other duties on a permanent Spanish based contract
Ground Training Duties: A payment equivalent to the daily flight duty pay for a domestic duty simulator, or annual recurrent ground training duty day.
Night Stops: On a night stop, expenses can be claimed in line with the published easyJet policy.
Ad hoc office duty: Unless a permanent arrangement in lieu of flight duty pay has been agreed with an individual, any office duties performed at the behest of the company will be paid for at the equivalent rate of one domestic daily flight duty payment per complete day of office duty.
Loyalty Bonus Payments on a permanently Spanish based contract
Captains
Captains will be paid a bonus on the second and subsequent anniversaries of joining the company in accordance with the table below, provided the company was in profit at the end of the previous financial year (30th September), and he or she has not given or been given notice on their qualifying date.

Loyalty bonuses are paid based on the salary current at the time of payment. Pilots on part time contracts will be paid the loyalty bonus pro rata.
First Officers
All First Officers will receive a bonus of 5% of basic salary to be paid on the third and subsequent anniversaries of joining, provided the company was in profit at the end of the previous financial year (30th September), and he or she has not given or been given notice on their qualifying date.
Retirement Age
The normal retirement age is 65.
Pilot Benefits on Madrid based contracts
Death in Service: Death in Service cover is 4 times basic salary. Personal accident cover for prescribed injuries or disablement is also provided.
Annual leave: 34 Bookable days per annum; this includes an allowance for Spanish public holidays.
Medicals: Flight crew will be reimbursed for the actual cost of their Class one medical certificate based on CAA/JAA requirements and recommended charges.
Car Parking: Access to staff car parks at a pilot’s base will be provided free of charge. Where a pilot is required to use their own transport on company business at a place other than their base, reasonable car park charges will be reimbursed against receipt.
Staff Travel: easyJet operates a staff travel policy and details of this policy can be found in the employee People Handbook.
Standby Duty: When on home standby, a crew member will have 90 minutes from call out to report for duty in the crew room. It is the pilot's responsibility to ensure that they remain within reach by telephone during periods of standby, and when away from a landline, this includes responsibility for remaining within adequate mobile phone network coverage.
Part Time Working: Part time contracts are available at 50% and 75%, following a minimum of 12 months at full time in accordance with pilot protocols on the company intranet.
easyJet Share Options: easyJet operates share option schemes and details of these schemes are communicated to all employees who are eligible on an annual basis.
