Following her Degree at University, Regan initially joined us as a graduate on a 'gap year'. Five and a half years later, she is still here and has since progressed through many exciting areas of the business to become part of the Learning and Development team today.
"The move into the Recruitment team from Cabin Crew was great, not only did it give me a great understanding of the business, but also gave me experience of working in a truly European environment".
Other opportunities within easyJet quickly became available and Regan jumped at the chance to move into the role of Onboard Experience Manager ensuring that the products our customers experience onboard fit with the easyJet brand.
"easyJet recognised my experience and qualifications prior to being Cabin Crew which meant that I found myself in a role where I could use a wide range of my skills, knowledge and experience".
Regan is currently working as the Training and Development Consultant within the Learning and Development team, where she is responsible for the non-technical training and development of easyJet people. When asked why she has stayed with easyJet Regan tells us:
"I have had opportunities within easyJet that I don't think I would have experienced with any other airline. For me, it is undoubtedly the people at easyJet that make it a great place to work!"

Andy joined easyJet in 2001 as Cabin Crew flying from London Luton Airport. After being in the role for only 6 months, he was quickly promoted to the rank of Senior Cabin Crew. From the start Andy had always taken an active interest in the development of the business and how he could improve his working environment.
It wasn't long before Andy progressed into Training, though he was always still on the lookout for new opportunities to develop himself in other areas.
"I wanted to work my way up and transfer my knowledge to help assist and guide others, both for those already working within the company and for those joining us".
Andy became involved in a great project within the Finance Department, leading to a permanent position for him within the Step Change team. From this, Andy moved into Learning and Development to continue his work with people and change and other learning activities.
Andy now manages a budget involving the employee engagement survey; GEM (Going the Extra Mile) awards and the delivery of the internal brand within the company.

Steve joined us as Cabin Crew from a retail background. Through the fantastic opportunities which easyJet have opened up to him he is still here now as a fully-qualified journalist. Through hard work and determination, Steve quickly progressed to the role of Senior Cabin Crew then on to become a Cabin Crew Trainer. When a position in Internal Communications opened up, Steve jumped at the chance to apply, even though he knew he was up against some strong external candidates.
"I felt like I had performed well at the interview, but was still amazed when I was told I was successful".
For Steve, easyJet has always followed the policy of 'grow their own' leaders, looking for talent and experience from within. This gives everyone the opportunity to progress to any of the other areas of the business that they may be interested in.
