Where We Work From
Head Office - Hangar 89
Hangar 89 is the Head Office of easyJet. Officially opened in 2007 the building houses the majority of management and administration functions as well as continuing to be a fully functional aircraft maintenance hangar. Located at the heart of Luton Airport, Hangar 89 is an unmissable easyJet landmark! Built in 1974, Hangar 89 was customised to fit the easyJet open culture and principles of simplicity, painted orange with an open plan interior to reflect the airline's 'less is more' approach. In addition to over 30,000 sq ft of office space, H89 can house three Airbus 319s or Boeing 737s at any one time.
easyJet Academy
The Academy opened in Autumn 2005 as our central facility for recruitment, training, development and cultural activities. Located at Luton Airport the Academy is home to 25 fully equipped training rooms, including two specialist training rooms housing a 48-seater cabin simulator and 2 aircraft evacuation slides. A cornerstone of easyJets people strategy is the training and development of its people and the Academy is a fantastic environment in which our employees can develop their skills, learn new information and further their careers.
